Live Music – Lilywren – An Evening of Celtic Music – Saturday, April 30th

Blarney Castle - IrelandLilywren logoThe First Street Community Center in Mount Vernon, Iowa is pleased to announce that we’ve got a live musical performance by Lilywren Saturday, April 30th at 7pm in our Library performance space upstairs.

Doors for this concert will open at 6:30pm.

Tickets: $13

Join us for a fun night to raise money for summer Irish language classes! The Mount Vernon Community Center Library will be decorated like an authentic Irish Pub, and Lilywren will be providing the music.

NOTE: You are welcome to bring your own wine and beer to this event.  Buckets and ice will be available.  Coffee, lemonade, and snacks will be provided.

MVAAC LogoThe Mount Vernon Area Arts Council presents ‘Music on Saturday’s’ at the First Street Community Center in Mount Vernon, Iowa.  Performances are FREE and open to the public. We will start on Saturday, February 6th.  Performances will be from 11 – 1 pm.

The musicians will be performing live music in the hallway area(s) to entertain you while you browse.

Bring your friends and family and stop over.  Escape the cold February weather and enjoy some wonderful music!
