Join us in the gymnasium of the First Street Community Center where you’ll find holiday gifts and provisions by local growers and makers. The Cold Moon Market will be an experiential and social event, so plan to stay a bit! Our poet laureate will be back with her instant poems on typewriter. Phi Phi, Sophia Andrews’ newest music project, will perform a curated set of holiday music. The Lisbon Prom Committee will offer gift wrapping using eco-friendly wrapping materials, all for a freewill donation.

And the FOOD! You can eat at the market or take some home with you.

The Shop Smaller Market is a celebration of local growers, makers, businesses, artisans, and producers from Linn & Johnson County, converging in Mount Vernon on Shop Small Saturday – November 26, the Saturday after Thanksgiving.


Join us at the First Street Community Center in the classic gymnasium of the former school building.
You’ll find some familiar faces from the Mount Vernon Farmers Market, and you’ll get to know some new people & their wares.

The Mount Vernon Winter Farmers Market can be found inside the the gymnasium of the First Street Community Center with delicious baked goods, local meats and produce, jams and jellies, and more!  Bring your kids, your friends, and a stray neighbor or two! We have a variety of vendors and a plethora of delicious items from which to choose. Stock the cupboards and fill the pantry, it is time for the Mt. Vernon Winter Farmers Market!

Summer 2021 – Farmer’s Market Starts Thursday

That’s right it’s time for our first Farmers Market of the spring/summer 2021 season!!! We are ready to come back and get down to business selling fresh, homemade baked goods, locally raised honey and veggies, plus a plethora of other nifty things like meat sauces, jams and jellies, and more! Come join us at the First Street Community Center every Thursday afternoon from 4 to 6pm starting May 6 and running through September 30!  We’ll see you then!
