The Mount Vernon Farmers’ Market is still going strong. Be sure to keep an eye out for those seasonal harvest items that you’ve been waiting for!

Thursdays from 4pm – 6pm. Seasonally held on the First Street Community Center front lawn.

Bring the family and choose from an array of homemade baked goods, local meats, eggs, beautiful jewelry, and plenty of fresh, local produce! We have only local products, produced by our local growers and artists.

MVL-CT Proudly Presents: Is He Dead?
A comedy by Mark Twain. Adapted and updated by David Ives.

Played as a period piece set in the mid-19th century Paris.  A young painter, Jean-Francois Millet plans to marry his love interest, Marie Leroux, but is thwarted by Andre a picture dealer to whom Jean-Francois is indebted to.

In order to make his paintings more valuable Jean-Francois fakes his own death and disguises himself as a woman.  He then becomes a successful artist.  If only he could figure out how to come back to life and reclaim Marie.
